  • Disciples of Jesus Christ_Pastor Francois van Niekerk_13 May 2012
Formation is a crucial part of life. God is committed to shaping and forming us to reflect the image of His son. In our walk with God we do not automatically become what we are called to be. It happens by a process of transformation called discipleship. It is the value of being committed to discipleship that we want to explore.

  • Living with integrity_Pastor Francois van Niekerk_6 May 2012
What we value shapes our lifestyles. Integrity is one of the most powerful values in God's Kingdom.

  • Spirit led life_Pastor Francois van Niekerk_29 April 2012
Our lifestyles are a direct reflection of what we give the highest value to. God wants His values to enjoy preference in our lives so that we will have a Kingdom lifestyle. So far, we have covered two values in our series, Kingdom lifestyle: (i) God has to be at the centre of our lives. (ii) We value God?s Word as the highest authority. Today we are focusing on the third value - being Spirit-led. So often we choose to go our own way instead of allowing the Spirit to direct our lives. To discover what it means to be Spirit-led, let?s ask the following questions: Who? What? How? Why?

  • The wonderful Word of God!_Pastor Francois van Niekerk_22 April 2012
As introduction, I?d like to share my personal testimony on the power of the Word: As a young man I was invited by a friend to attend a presentation on the Word of God. Although I was a Christian, I did not pay much attention to the invitation as I thought the man was going to speak about the Bible in terms of archaeological findings, Greek and Hebrew and so forth. ?How boring,? I thought. When the day came, I had nothing exciting to do and decided to go. That day my life changed! A new world was unlocked for me as the speaker presented the Bible as more than just a book, but also as a living Person. He introduced me to Jesus as the Living Word. As a result I developed an incredible hunger for God?s Word. I could not get enough of it! I even read the Bible secretly in class at school. As my life began to be filled with God?s Word, I saw real change in me. For the first time my life was also starting to have an impact on the lives of my friends and family. I became aware of the awesome power of God?s Word in me. I?ve never looked back! Know that God?s Word was written for you!

  • Values for life_Pastor Francois van Niekerk_15 April 2012
Style is a manner of doing something and lifestyle is the way in which we do life. Style is that which we show on the outside. There are many different lifestyles (ranging for example from being a gentleman to a rapper). What is your style? God intends us to have a Kingdom lifestyle. This lifestyle requires adopting the values of the Kingdom.

  • Burning hearts_Pastor Francois van Niekerk_08 April 2012
Christ?s resurrection was God?s final seal on the redemptive work of Christ. It is also our guarantee that the work of the Cross has been completed. It is the greatest guarantee for our faith. Because God raised Christ from the dead, we can know that every other promise He made stands secure. With great confidence we can put our faith in all that He says! The empty grave is our foundation for believing with all conviction that our God is more than able to fulfil all He has said! For Him all things are possible! Let?s follow the sequence of events that unfolded around the resurrection of Jesus. I trust that this will help us plot our personal journeys with Christ and ensure that we progress to a place where we live in resurrection reality!

  • When kingdoms shake_Pastor Jan van Reenen_01 April 2012
In August 1999 I was part of a missions group in Turkey when a deadly earthquake, measuring 7.6 on the Richter scale, hit the city of Izmit and more than 17 000 people lost their lives. An earthquake is a seismic event, of natural or human cause, that generates seismic shifts. God wants us to have life. His intent is not to destroy us through shaking, but to align us. Man?s own choice and obsession for his own kingdom brings destruction. God?s heart for us is life and that in abundance, which comes with alignment to His Kingdom.

  • Kingdom hope_Pastor Sid Hartley_25 March 2012
'Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works ...' - Hebrews 10:23-24 The definition of hope is to anticipate, usually with pleasure, expectation or confidence. The definition of hold fast is to hold fast (literally or figuratively), keep in memory, possess, retain, seize on, stay or take.

  • Kingdom authority for Kingdom advance_Pastor Francois van Niekerk_18 March 2012 am
Our vision is to see God?s Kingdom established in hearts, homes and beyond. Having a vision is wonderful, but it is mostly not enough to see it become a reality. Often the need for authority is overlooked when something worthwhile is being established. God?s power and authority are promised for God?s purpose! Every believer should be greatly encouraged in knowing that we can have God?s power for God?s purpose. Ultimately, this purpose is establishing His Kingdom. God?s Kingdom authority is given for Kingdom advance. The world loves super heroes, such as Spider-Man, Batman and Superman, because we all long for someone who has special powers to make a real difference in this world. The truth is that these figures are only mythical. Yet God has provided real supernatural abilities for those who will answer His call to advance His Kingdom. We meet some of them in the pages of the Bible.

  • Developing Kingdom values_Pastor Francois van Niekerk_11 March 2012
In every home, family, nation and many other interest groups there are certain ways of doing things. These ways are called cultures and traditions. In this sermon I will give more clarity to the meaning of culture and tradition. (For the purpose of our focus we will view customs as similar to traditions.) Before the modern term culture was formed in the eighteen hundreds, it was more generally referred to as ?the ways? in which people did things.
